Frequently asked questions
To send a parcel, simply post a free ad that will be visible via our search engine to site users with a planned journey. For privacy reasons, we will not display your surname on the site. We only display your first name and the initial of your surname, whether on your ad or in the private messaging.
Go to the ad posting form and enter the details of your item.
For all deliveries booked on Cocolis, insurance covering your shipment up to €150 is included. It is automatically activated as soon as the booking and payment for the transport are made on Cocolis.
If you wish to insure your goods for more than €150, you will have the option to choose this at the time of booking (up to €250, €500, €1000, €1500, €2000, €2500, €3000, €3500, €4000, €4500 and €5000).
The insurance covers any accidental, unintentional, unforeseeable damage from an external cause; as well as theft.
The guarantee applies with no excess, provided that the goods are not excluded (see the insurance conditions) and that they have been adequately packaged for safe transport. Indeed, while Cocolis allows you to transport all types of goods more flexibly and economically than traditional solutions, not properly protecting an item greatly increases the risk of it being damaged during transport.

Please note, if your item is transported without payment via the Cocolis site, which is not allowed by our T&Cs, and an accident or theft occurs, it will not be covered. Payment on the site is a guarantee of security for you and by bypassing the site, you risk not being compensated in case of a problem.
To charge your buyers for Cocolis delivery, there are two solutions:
1. Include the delivery fees at the time of purchase on your site
Thus, your buyer pays the fees at the same time as their purchase.
You then post the ad on Cocolis to find a carrier.
2. Invite your customer to create a Cocolis account
In this case, you don't have to do anything and your customer posts their ad directly on the site. They will therefore handle the delivery details themselves.
