International Summit on Sustainable Mobility in Montreal
From 30 May to 1 June, Michelin organised its global summit on sustainable mobility, Movin’On, in Montreal.
For the second consecutive year, the Michelin group aimed to create with this summit the “Davos of sustainable mobility”.
This year, more than 5,000 participants gathered to imagine and develop new, innovative and sustainable mobility.
For Michelin, it is time to “turn ambition into action”, the true leitmotif of this 2018 edition.
Over these three days, numerous conferences, round tables and working sessions brought together 90 experts and leaders in mobility.
Participants also had the opportunity to test sustainable mobility vehicles during the Ride and Drive Event organised at the summit.
Major Groups Committed to Sustainable Mobility
Several leaders of major groups took the stage during conferences and workshops. They shared their objectives in terms of sustainable mobility and the action plans implemented to achieve them.
Representatives from the Total Group, for example, spoke at conferences during the summit.
They were able to present their commitments to sustainable mobility.
The Total Foundation and the Michelin Corporate Foundation initiated a programme conceived during cooperation agreements negotiated at the summit. It is a road safety education programme aimed at 10-18 year olds.
Like this one, the summit enabled the initiation of many other agreements between major groups (BNP Paribas, Gemini, DHL, etc.) and other sustainable mobility stakeholders.
Cocolis at Movin’On 2018
For this 2018 edition, Cocolis was selected to take part in this international event alongside 40 other mobility startups. We were able to share our vision of sustainable mobility and present our activity to many people!
We also had the chance to make great connections during these three days and are very happy to have participated in this edition of Movin’On.
