How to pay for your deliveries on Cocolis?
Because everyone uses Cocolis in their own way, we've integrated different payment methods to suit your needs.
How does the payment process work?
Once you've posted your ad and found a transporter for your goods, you'll need to pay the amount due for the transport.
The amount is held in an account opened in your name with Mangopay, our payment provider. Don't worry, no one touches your money until you trigger the payment once your goods have arrived at their destination.
This system does not route the money through Cocolis and has a double advantage:
✓ The sender only pays if the item in their ad is delivered.
✓ The transporter is sure to be paid the agreed amount, and without any payment delay, once the delivery is completed.
How does Cocolis protect you if something goes wrong?
If your item is not delivered
The amount held will be fully refunded if the cancellation is due to the transporter.
However, if the cancellation comes from the sender, the refund will not be full and the service fees will be retained by Cocolis. Feel free to check our FAQ regarding cancellations.
If your item is damaged
Depending on the insurance option you choose and the coverage amount, the insurer will handle any eligible claims:
Items transported via Cocolis are insured up to €5,000 through our partner MUTUAIDE, depending on the coverage you select.
