Cocolis offers insurance for all your shipments


Insure your parcels up to €5,000 thanks to our insurance offer negotiated at the best rates. At the time of payment, select the formula corresponding to the value of your shipment: the insurance price will be displayed automatically.


To benefit from the insurance, the booking and payment of your delivery must be made on Cocolis.

What does the insurance cover?


The insurance covers any accidental event that occurs during the transport period.


A scratch? A chip? That vintage mirror you found on Leboncoin arrived in a thousand pieces? Don’t stress, it’s covered!


Exclusions are indicated in the information notices and are identical for both the included and optional insurance.


Note, damage due to unsuitable packaging is not covered. Make sure you protect your item with suitable packaging. Remember to take photos before collection and on delivery to attach to your claim if needed.

What to do in case of a claim?

From the moment you become aware of the damage, you have 5 days to report the claim by email to [email protected].

To report a claim, please send us an e-mail. We will need the following:


• A description of the circumstances of the accident in the form of a sworn statement,

• Photos of the item before and after transport (items must be sufficiently packaged)

• If the item is repairable: original purchase invoice for the damaged item, or any supporting document attesting at least to the existence and value of the item, and repair estimate,

• If the item is irreparable: replacement estimate for the damaged item, original purchase invoice for the damaged item, or any other type of proof of the value of the insured item, certificate of irreparability issued by a competent repair service.


A Cocolis advisor will contact you to check that the claim falls within the scope of the cover. Your file will then be forwarded to the broker VERSPIEREN, who is in charge of claims management.

To report a theft, please send us an e-mail. We will need the following:


• A description of the circumstances of the incident in the form of a sworn statement,

• You must file a police report and provide us with a copy of this report.

• Photos of the item before and after transport (items must be sufficiently packaged)

• If the item is repairable: original purchase invoice for the damaged item, or any supporting document attesting at least to the existence and value of the item, and repair estimate,

• If the item is irreparable: replacement estimate for the damaged item, original purchase invoice for the damaged item, or any other type of proof of the value of the insured item, certificate of irreparability issued by a competent repair service.
