Day 5, how can we help each other?
20 March 2020
We hope, now more than ever, that you are well.
This pandemic is transforming our lives. For some, it puts life on pause, while for others the workload has never been heavier.
Given the exceptional situation, we encourage all Cocolis users to limit their travel as much as possible and to strictly follow the Government's recommendations.
Stay at home as much as possible 🏠
Some people cannot. Of course, we are thinking of medical staff on the front line, but also of all those who are necessarily in contact every day with many people who may be carrying the virus, and those who allow us to continue living a -more or less- normal life.
To these people we say: THANK YOU 🙏
We are also thinking of people who are particularly at risk from this virus and those who are unable to get out, even just to go to the nearest supermarket.
Solidarity 🤝 is one of the founding values of Cocolis. We have seen it several times, our community can work wonders. For this reason, we are considering a mutual aid system that would be compatible with the lockdown measures. These, we remind you, are essential to managing this crisis.
Therefore, we are conducting an initial survey to find out if, within our community, there would be:
- People on the front line or particularly isolated or with fragile health, who may need help in the coming days with buying essential goods.
- People who are alone, who would like to receive a daily call to check that they are okay.
If you feel concerned and are interested, please fill in this short form.
In the coming days, we will get back to you to keep you informed about this project. We will also try to give you regular updates from our team working remotely to share our unusual daily life with you. In the same way, we would love to hear how you are managing the lockdown.
Together, we can try to make this period of social distancing as human as possible.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
See you soon,
The Cocolis team.
