Testimonial #1 "I use Cocolis to help others"

We interviewed Marc, who has been a keen user of Cocolis since the very beginning. He agreed to answer a few of our questions to share his experience with us.

Marc, how did you discover Cocolis?

I discovered the site thanks to an advert, then I contacted Eliette, who explained to me how Cocolis works. I have now been using it for over a year.

What do you think of the concept?

I love it! As a strong supporter of the internet and everything that comes with it, I think Cocolis is a real alternative to traditional delivery systems, especially from an ecological point of view, as it helps reduce our CO2 emissions while making our travel costs more profitable.

Can you estimate the savings you have made since you started using Cocolis?

Marc: Around €100, but it's hard to estimate... In fact, I don't do it to make money, it's more to help others and reduce my impact on the environment. Those are the real values of collaborative delivery!

Do you have a little story to share with us? About a delivery? An unusual item?

Marc: I delivered a chest of drawers from Haux (Gironde) to Paris, but once there I realised that the recipient, an elderly person, was alone to carry the chest up to the 6th floor without a lift. So I helped, which was tough but I did it gladly to help someone who couldn't do it alone.

Do you have any recommendations for us regarding the use of the site? Which aspect(s) should we improve?

The site is easy to use, and I think it is constantly improving. If there is a problem, the Cocolis team is very responsive and replies quickly.

Maybe parcels going to the same destination could be grouped together to reduce the number of vehicles needed for transport and thus limit CO2 emissions.
