Personal Data Incident - cocolis.fr

Following the incident that occurred on our website, here is the information we are able to share today:

The bug allowed certain personal data of our users to be displayed in the source code of the page listing customer reviews.

This bug has been identified and resolved.

The data concerned are: name, first name, email address, phone number, address, date of birth.

No so-called “critical” data (payment, password, etc.) is affected.
All payment data, in particular, is hosted on the site of our payment provider, Mangopay (CREDIT MUTUEL ARKEA).

For your information, please note that we contacted the CNIL on the very day the incident was discovered and resolved.

We are fully aware of the inconvenience this incident may cause and would like to once again offer our sincere apologies to the members of our community. The reading of this data by malicious individuals may, in fact, result in unwanted mail (SPAM) and phishing attempts.

We therefore ask them to remain vigilant in the face of any contact that may seem suspicious and not to hesitate to contact us if necessary.

More than ever, our team is at your disposal to answer any questions you may have.

At the same time, we are continuing our investigations to determine to what extent this data may have been retrieved and used. We will share the results of this investigation with you within a week.

The security of the data of Cocolis community members has always been a priority for us. Even though we invest heavily to provide you with the highest level of guarantees, it is clear that no one is immune to human error, and we must redouble our vigilance on this subject.
We have undertaken a series of actions in this regard, the results of which we will also share with you shortly.

Our community is our most valuable asset and we have always taken great care to keep you regularly informed. We therefore make it a point of honour to continue to do so on this subject as on all others.
