Testimonial #3 "Kind, punctual carriers"
30 November 2016
This week we meet Véronique F., who has been using Cocolis.fr for three months now.
1) How did you discover Cocolis?
I found out about the site thanks to my son, who knows the site’s co-founder.
2) What do you think of the concept?
It’s great! The concept follows the trend of the sharing and collaborative economy. It’s very much in tune with the times and allows us to optimise our journeys to save money.
3) What types of goods have you sent via Cocolis?
Mainly clothes, generally items of little value, but I did send a high-value item and everything went well.
4) Can you estimate the savings you made by using Cocolis instead of a professional carrier?
I compared with Colissimo. If I had used Colissimo for some destinations like Paris, it would have been cheaper than Cocolis.fr, but for other, less common destinations like Dijon or small provincial towns, Cocolis is almost 40% cheaper than Colissimo. Plus, with Cocolis, you don’t have to travel; the carrier comes to your home to collect the parcel and delivers it directly to the recipient.
5) What did you think of the carriers who delivered your items?
Most of them were kind and punctual. There was just one time when it was a bit more complicated, as the carrier tried to negotiate the price set by Cocolis. I decided to stick with the recommended price, as I thought it was fair, and declined the carrier’s offer.
In general, the carriers are very good and courteous. My mother, who received a parcel, even invited one of them to dinner as he arrived in the evening!
6) Was your item delivered quickly?
No problem, right on time.
7) Do you have any recommendations for us regarding the use of the site? Which aspect(s) should we improve?
I still have some difficulties using the site… I’m 60 years old and not very familiar with computers in general.
The first thing to fix is a recurring bug that prevents you from adding photos when posting an advert. You can’t add a photo and have to go through one of the site managers to do it. [Note from Cocolis: bug now fixed!]
