She tells us her story.

Frederia Meubles d’encre, how did you discover Cocolis?

Through another blogger I follow on Instagram (Atelier d’ambiance), who shares the same passion and the same profession as a furniture decorator. I called her and she highly recommended Cocolis.

Frederia Meubles d’encre, what do you think of the concept?

BRILLIANT, AMAZING. I LOVE IT. I still remember the TV show on M6. They highlighted the cost, but more than the financial aspect, I loved the eco-friendly and community-minded approach.

Frederia Meubles d’encre, what was your main motivation for using Cocolis?

The most important thing for me is the care taken with my furniture during transport. I’ve had so many pieces damaged or even broken that I’ve become very cautious.

Of course, I’m also delighted to save money and I’m very sensitive to environmental issues. Finally, I’m reassured to know my parcel is insured by MAIF (it’s my personal insurer, so I know them well).

Did you save money?

Compared to the transport services I used before, I save on average 50%. For example, for my last shipment from Frederia Meubles d’encre (a pair of bedside tables and a headboard) to Antibes, the quote from La Poste was €210 vs €120 with Cocolis.

What kind of items do you ship?

Mainly the furniture I create: bedside tables, headboards... and soon my first chest of drawers.

Has Cocolis allowed you to make great connections?

I always meet really nice people. I often share a coffee and croissant with my carrier; we take the time to chat.

Do you have any advice as a sender?

I always make a video of the furniture before packing it, which I send to my client.

And when it comes to packaging, I’m a bit extreme: at least two layers of bubble wrap + a sheet + cardboard and more bubble wrap around the feet and corners. (See Cocolis’ packaging tips)

Would you recommend Cocolis?

Oh, I recommend it every day. We talk a lot with other decorators and always mention it. We spread the word as much as possible. And for my sales on Selency, I always offer Cocolis.

What’s great is that the Cocolis team is super professional, super friendly, super responsive... I’ve never had that with other transport options.
