What is Troccauris.com?

www.troccauris.com is a free platform for exchanging goods between individuals. On our site, you can swap items you no longer use for other items at any time using our alternative currency, the Cauris.

The Cauris? What is it for?

With our alternative currency, the Cauris, you can swap a listing (item/service) for Cauris. This allows you to trade faster and multiply your exchanges. This little shell helps balance out value differences when exchanging goods or services between individuals. 10 Cauris = 1 €. You can buy Cauris, but it is not mandatory. As soon as the swap is completed, your account is credited with the value of the item in Cauris.

How was the concept of the platform born?

The idea came after a bad experience: swapping a fridge for a living room unit in a deserted, dark car park... We then thought of a solution that would allow individuals to exchange their items safely thanks to a dedicated web platform. Troccauris was born! Today, the Troccauris community continues to grow and expand every day!
