VELOOK, a very precious site to find a second-hand bike!

A few months ago, we discovered velook.fr, the blog of two vintage bike enthusiasts sharing their tips and advice for finding a second-hand bike. We met them at the Autonomy festival, which was recently held in Paris, so they could tell us about their initiative.
A blog full of great tips for bike enthusiasts!
At first, we were quite surprised by the idea of this blog: “how to find a second-hand bike?”. For us, it was pretty simple: just go on leboncoin like you go on Cocolis to send a parcel... Yet, there are no fewer than fifteen physical and virtual places to hunt for a second-hand bike. With Velook, we discovered some unusual places to find a used bike, like the Crédit Municipal de Paris or donation sites between individuals.
Unmissable and very practical tips
Velook is full of information about “second-hand” bikes, whether they are road bikes, mountain bikes, fixies or electric bikes... We loved their maps listing all the shops and associations selling second-hand bikes in every city in France. But above all, we loved their bike fair calendar!

If you’re looking for a new bike, go and check out velook.fr. Their slogan sums up the ambition of this site: “580 million second-hand bikes in the world but only one site to help you find yours!”
