Cocolis recognised by FEVAD and KPMG for its impact on e-commerce
A collaborative transport solution that is revolutionising parcel delivery, enabling more cost-effective and sustainable e-commerce!

Cocolis joins the official 2021 directory of the 'Start me Up' Challenge, listing French start-ups that have implemented the most innovative solutions for e-commerce players
Cocolis is the first 100% secure and insured parcel carpooling platform. For the past 4 years, Fevad and KPMG have selected the most promising start-ups that are transforming the e-commerce sector and listed them in their official directory. For 2021, 56 start-ups were selected and classified by sector. In the transport/logistics category, only 7 start-ups were chosen, including Cocolis.
We are delighted to join the official 2021 directory of e-commerce start-ups and to be recognised by Fevad and KPMG as providing a differentiating and high value-added service for e-commerce players. Many online retailers want to make an ecological transition in their parcel transport and delivery processes, but also to reduce costs in this area. And we are here to support them in this process. Our little extra? A simple customer journey, a high-performance technology platform, a large and reliable community, cheaper shipments, eco-friendly parcel transport and values based on the collaborative economy!
Eliette Vincent, co-founder of Cocolis
A simple and efficient customer journey
Retailers must first register on Cocolis before following a 4-step process:
- Post an advert: Whether you are a sender or a recipient, post an advert in just a few clicks or via API.
- Select a carrier: In real time, receive offers from individuals and carriers making the journey.
- Agreement reached: The agreement is validated after online payment of the delivery cost to Cocolis, which acts as an intermediary and will only transfer the amount to the co-carrier after the parcel has been delivered.
- Parcel preparation: The retailer then prepares the parcel before handing it over to the carrier.
A collaborative and eco-friendly transport solution
Cocolis is a solution based on carpooling values and today brings together a community of more than 700,000 users, including 10,000 retailers, all over France. It is made up of private individuals, the co-carriers, as well as professional carriers who are making the same journey as the parcel's shipping address, most often for bulky items, and who take advantage of the available space in their vehicle to transport it.
In addition to optimising the space in vehicles on the road, e-commerce players contribute to the collaborative economy by enabling the carrier to cover part of their travel costs.
Cheaper and insured shipments
The Cocolis solution is perfectly suited for retailers who need to ship bulky or heavy goods, sometimes not handled by traditional carriers, and for whom the cost of transport is often higher than the product sold. With Cocolis, they are guaranteed to save up to 80% on this expense.
Cocolis is aware of the issues related to transport and delivery and their impact on customer satisfaction. To ensure retailers can ship with complete peace of mind, it is possible to take out insurance with Mutuaide to cover goods in transit up to €5,000.
